September 1, 2010 - Drugs Discovered At Traffic Stop
A man and woman face drug charges following a vehicle stop in the downtown area Wednesday afternoon. The Owen Sound Police Drug Unit and Heat Unit stopped a vehicle to investigate the driver who was believed to be breaching a condition of her bail. At that time officers found approximately $1100.00 worth of marihuana that was packaged for sale.

Race and Ethnicity Course
Owen Sound Police Services are pleased to host a Diversity and Professional Practice Course on September 20-23, 2010.

Instructor Saleha Khan of Ontario Police College’s Race Relations & Adult Education Unit, plus related presenters, will provide sworn and civilian members the opportunity to explore the many aspects of current challenges facing police and related services in the communities they serve.
