NewsTwo Suspects Arrested in Home Invasion RobberyNovember 27, 2009 Owen Sound police have arrested two suspects in relation to a home invasion robbery that occurred on November 03rd 2009, at a west side apartment complex in Owen Sound. On November 03rd, 2009 two suspects, wearing facial coverings, forced their way into a west side apartment, after the door had been answered by an occupant of the apartment. The suspects threatened the occupants with a handgun, while demanding cash and prescription narcotics. The suspects left after stealing a small quantity of the victims’ personal property. One occupant received minor injuries. Gilbert Joseph Lecuyer, 34 years, of no fixed address was arrested yesterday, at a west side residence, by members of the Owen Sound Police Criminal Investigation Branch, Drug Enforcement Unit and H.E.A.T. Unit. Raymond Ryerson King, 22 years, of no fixed address was arrested today by members of the Owen Sound police. Both males face charges including: Break Enter and Theft, Robbery with a Firearm, Pointing a Firearm, Forcible Confinement and Wearing a Disguise with Intent. King faces two additional charges of Breach of Probation. Both suspects have been remanded into custody pending a bail hearing. The Owen Sound Police advise that this was not a random act and the general public was not in danger of being targeted. The investigation is continuing. No additional suspects are being sought.
