Two Toronto Men Arrested on Drug Charges

Two Toronto area men face drug related charges following their arrests outside an eastside residence. On Thursday afternoon members of the Owen Sound Drug Unit, Criminal Investigation Branch, Heat Unit and Uniform branch arrested three males following a drug trafficking investigation.

 

Police seized a total of $7800.00 worth of crack and powder cocaine. Also seized was a small quantity of marihuana and $1285.00 cash.

 

Charged are:

 

Adil Hosannah 18 years of Toronto has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of marihuana and possession of proceeds of crime.

 

Shawane Ritchie 18 years of Brampton has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime.

 

Both remain in police custody and will appear in the Owen Sound Court tomorrow morning for a bail hearing.

 

A third man was released without charges.
