Police Release Break-In Photographs

February 23, 2010

The Owen Sound Police Service is releasing photographs from the break-in to a convenience store in hopes of generating some possible leads in the case.

Inspector Stephen MacKinnon stated, “We are asking for people to look at the photographs and see if they recognize either of the two males whose faces appear in them or the unique jacket worn by the third suspect in the theft.”

Almost four weeks ago, three male thieves broke into the O/S Milk Convenience store on 9th Avenue East.  They brought with them a large grey garbage pail into which they threw a large quantity of cigarettes.  The males are known to have headed north after exiting the store.

The photographs are from the surveillance camera system that was inside the store.  They can be seen below.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Owen Sound Police Service at 519-376-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
