Police Looking for Vehicle Involved in Collision

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a fail to remain motor vehicle collision which occurred today at approximately 1:45 p.m. on 4th Avenue East between 10th Street and 11th Street in Owen Sound.

An unattended Kia 4-door parked facing northbound against the east curb was struck by a northbound vehicle, described as a gold mini van. The investigating officer, Cst. Robson, states “The collision would have been quite obvious to the offending driver. Both vehicles received moderate damage, and it’s quite likely that the culprit van may have red paint transfer and damage along its front right corner and/or quarter panel”.

  
The gold van was last observed fleeing the scene, traveling northbound along 4th Avenue East. It is unknown if the offending driver was injured.
