Citizens On Patrol program requires volunteers

 Members conduct random patrols of public buildings and areas which have been identified as highly incident prone by the Owen Sound Police Services.
Members of the Citizens on Patrol participate in a minimum of 5 hours of patrol duty each month. During the random patrols, members are asked to keep precise notes of the activities during their shift. Each member is also asked to attend a monthly meeting.

Successful applicants must pass a background investigation prior to becoming a member. Applicants must be 19 years of age or older.  

All training will be provided. 

Interested persons are encouraged to pick up an application at the Owen Sound Police Services or print off the following form and dleiver it to:
