NewsHigh Risk Sex Offender Re-Locating in Owen SoundJune 22, 2010
Subsequent to a community safety notice issued by the Ontario Provincial Police earlier this week, high-risk sex offender Glen Douglas LEE, 62 years, has moved from the Stone Tree apartments, just south of Owen Sound and is looking to re-locate in Owen Sound. Owen Sound Police confirmed that LEE had moved from the Stone Tree apartments and temporarily re-located at an apartment at 995 16th Street East, Owen Sound. The Owen Sound Police have been in contact with LEE and have confirmed that he has since left 995 16th Street East and is seeking other housing options in Owen Sound. Lee currently has no fixed address. Inspector Wurfel states, “The priority of the Owen Sound Police Service is the safety of our community. We will continue to provide community safety notice updates, as deemed prudent in the interest of public safety”. Lee moved to the Owen Sound area on June 10 after serving a 21-month sentence for sexual assault involving young males.
