Owen Sound Police Teaming Up With Area Police

Owen Sound residents and visitors will be seeing police officers and patrol cars from neighbouring police services in Owen Sound this weekend.

The Owen Sound Police Service will be teaming up this weekend with Grey County O.P.P., South Bruce O.P.P., West Grey Police Services, Saugeen Shores Police Services, and Hanover Police Services as part of an ongoing joint traffic enforcement initiative.

The members from the participating police agencies will be conducting a series of R.I.D.E. spot checks at various times and locations throughout Owen Sound in an effort to deter and detect drinking and driving offences and to ensure everyone enjoys their weekend activities safely and responsibly.
