Overnight Robbery at Harrison Park

Between 11:00 – 11:20 p.m. on July 27th a 25-year old local male was accompanying a female acquaintance as they walked along trails in Harrison Park, when the man was approached by a stranger near the bridge spanning the inlet at the park’s north end. The new arrival spoke briefly to the man, and then proceeded to punch and kick him several times. Following the assault the culprit took the victim’s wallet and bracelet. 

The offender is described as 19 – 20 years of age with a fair complexion; 5’8” / 172 cm’s with a stocky build, short brush cut dirty blond hair and clean shaven.

The victim was transported to hospital and received treatment for his injuries. He was not required to be admitted.
