Our police officers and civilian members provide 24-hour, 7 day a week policing services responding to a wide variety of calls for service in the City of Owen Sound, in addition to road safety, crime prevention, and community safety and wellbeing initiatives.

The Owen Sound Police Service operates from our headquarters located at 922 2nd Avenue West, Owen Sound. The Police Service operates with a compliment of over 40 full-time and 5 part-time officers. There are also 24 full-time and 28 part-time civilian employees, including 14 Special Constables  mainly assigned to court duties.

A network of numerous volunteers assists the Owen Sound Police Service in the delivery of many of our initiatives such as Citizens on Patrol, Auxiliary Police, and a mobile Safety Village to name a few.
