Break and Enter at Downtown Business - Suspects Identified and Arrested

On Sunday, June 15, 2025, just after 6:30am, The Owen Sound Police were alerted to a break and enter at a business in the downtown core.  Police arrived to find the front door glass had been smashed and numerous items inside the business had been destroyed.

Further investigation revealed that various merchandise had been stolen from the business including a high-value electric bicycle.

Police have determined that seven different individuals entered the business after the initial break and enter, and each were responsible for stealing various items.

During the evening of Monday, June 16 and into the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 17, three of the identified individuals were located and arrested by police and held in custody pending bail hearings.

A 33 year-old female of no fixed address has been charged with break, enter and commit theft along with failing to comply with probation.

A 55 year-old male of no fixed address has been charged with break, enter and commit theft.

A 38 year-old male of no fixed address has been charged with break, enter and commit theft along with failing to comply with probation.

Further arrests are expected, and police are encouraging those responsible to turn themselves into the Owen Sound Police Service.  Police would also like to speak to any witnesses or anyone who may have information regarding the individuals responsible or the whereabouts of the stolen property.
