The Owen Sound Police Service is investigating a break and enter that occurred at a residence on the east side of the city.

Police were called to the incident after it was discovered that a suspect(s) had unlawfully entered a home at approximately 4:00 a.m. The investigation remains ongoing, and officers are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the occurrence.

Investigators are asking residents in the area of 7th Avenue East, between 1st Street East and 6th Street East to check any available security or dash camera footage between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. for any suspicious activity that may assist police.
