Fatal Hit-and-Run – Vehicle Located, Public Assistance Still Requested

The Owen Sound Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) has located the white Honda Civic believed to have been involved in the fatal hit-and-run collision that occurred on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at approximately 3:00 a.m. near the intersection of 5th Street East and 5th Avenue East.

The vehicle, a 2018 white Honda Civic, has been seized by investigators and is undergoing a forensic examination.

While this is a significant development in the investigation, police continue to appeal to the public for assistance. Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the area to review any available surveillance, doorbell, or dash camera footage from the hours surrounding the incident.
