During the early morning hours of October 16th, 2025, police were conducting proactive patrols throughout the residential neighborhoods of Owen Sound.

As a result, a male was observed by police as he lurked around a vehicle in close proximity to a residence. 

The male was arrested by police without incident and found to be in possession of property that had previously been reported stolen from another residence.

A 40-year-old male of no fixed address, Owen Sound was charged by police with trespass at night and possession of property obtained by crime. 

The males first appearance court date is October 23rd, 2025.
