On Wednesday June 26, 2024 a vehicle travelling northbound on 7^th Avenue East from 16^th Street East in Owen Sound, struck a parked vehicle and rolled over onto its passenger side.  The female driver was transported by ambulance to Brightshores Hospital with what is believed to be minor injuries. 

Owen Sound Police and the Owen Sound Fire Service attended at the scene and the roadway was closed for a period of approximately forty minutes.   Both involved vehicles received significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.

At the conclusion of the investigation, an 80 year-old-female from Owen Sound was charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
