May 10, 2012 - Three separate incidents result in Theft and Drug charges for six people
On the Tuesday morning members of the Owen Sound Police Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at an eastside residence. Investigators subsequently seized property that was stolen over the weekend from a motor vehicle. Also located in the residence was a small marihuana grow.

On April 21st, 2012 a staff member from a downtown Owen Sound bar alerted police about a suspected impaired driver that had just left the premises.

Police Services across Ontario will be celebrating “Police Week”, which officially runs from May 13th to 19th, 2012. This year’s theme, as established by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, is “Leading the Way to a Safer Tomorrow”, and the Owen Sound Police Service has a variety of events planned throughout the week.
