On May 6^th, 2024, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a collision occurred at the intersection of 2^nd Avenue West and 9^th Street West, Owen Sound, involving a car and a motorcycle.  The Owen Sound Police Service had the intersection shut down for several hours. 

Officers were able to respond quickly to the area and witnessed a male spray painting an electrical box along the west harbor wall.  The man attempted to flee from an officer but was caught and arrested.  The man was in found in possession of items used to paint graffiti.

On Friday April 12, 2024 during the afternoon hours a package was delivered to the front porch of a west-side residence.  Within seven minutes of the delivery, the package was stolen and Owen Sound Police were called by the victim to investigate.  At the conclusion of an investigation, a 39 year-old Owen Sound female was identified, arrested and charged.

On Sunday April 7, 2024 at 7:15 p.m. two individuals were assaulted by an associate at their east side residence. The man was arrested for two counts of assault. During a search, the man was found in possession of one ounce of Fentanyl which has an approximate street value of $6000. Police also seized a smaller quantity of Psilocybin from him (‘Magic Mushrooms’).
