Mandatory Annual Reporting

The Owen Sound Police Services Board is required to make specific reports available to the public each year. This section features legislated reports that promote accountability, transparency, and oversight of the Owen Sound Police Service.

2024 Use of Force Annual Report

This report highlights how police utilize specialized tools to locate missing persons in situations where no criminal activity is suspected. In compliance with Ontario’s Missing Persons Act, police services are required to report annually on the use of urgent demands for information. This reporting reinforces oversight, transparency, and public trust.

Missing Person Act OSPS 2024 Annual Report

In accordance with Section 215 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 (CSPA), the Owen Sound Police Services Board is required to publish an aggregated disciplinary report each year. This report includes specific information about discipline imposed within the police service, while respecting privacy and confidentiality requirements.
