On Thursday July 10^th shortly after 6:00 p.m. emergency services responded to a two-vehicle head on collision in the 1000 block of 3^rd Avenue West.

The Owen Sound Police have located the missing male safe.  Please remove all social media posts and photos regarding this matter.  

On June 30, 2024 at approximately 13:30 hours Owen Sound Police received multiple reports of a fire at an apartment in the 1300 block of 3^rd Avenue East.  In addition to the fire, a deceased 58-year-old man was discovered on the sidewalk directly in front of the building. 

On June 22^nd, 2024 at approximately 10:15 p.m., an Owen Sound man was attacked with a knife in the 300 block of 8^th Street East.

An 80 year-old female was charged with Careless Driving after she struck a parked vehicle and rolled over in the 1600 block of 7th Avenue East, Owen Sound this afternoon.

Delivery driver charged with failing to stop for school bus.  The driver incurred a fine of $490 and 6 demerit points.  

OSPS members, local Special Olympic Athletes, along with Saugeen Shores Police, Hanover Police, West Grey Police, and the OPP, will be running 1-kilometre routes across Grey and Bruce counties on June 13.

On May 31st, 2024 at approximately 4:30 p.m., a lone male suspect entered a financial institution located in Owen Sound and passed a note to a teller demanding money, “or else”.  

On Wednesday May 29, 2024 at 8:20 a.m. a single motor vehicle rollover occurred on 9^th Avenue East, north of 20^th Street East in Owen Sound.  A Toyota Tacoma pick up was travelling southbound when the driver failed to negotiate an ‘S bend’ curve resulting in the vehicle leaving the roadway and striking a large boulder.   The impact caused the truck to flip onto its driver’s side and come to rest in a driveway.
