The Owen Sound Police Service is hiring full-time Team Leads for our Communications Centre. In this role, you’ll lead a team of Dispatchers, provide training, and perform dispatch duties. This position involves shift work, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

In total, over the course of the weekend, the Owen Sound Police responded to 100 calls for service and processed 32 Criminal Code offences and executed 7 arrested warrants.
On Tuesday July 15, 2025 just before 9:30 a.m. The Owen Sound Police Service, Owen Sound Fire Service and Grey County Paramedics responded to the intersection of 16th Street and 16th Avenue East, Owen Sound after a motor vehicle collision occurred.
The driver of a Hyundai Tuscon, a 30 year-old Owen Sound woman, was taken by ambulance to Brightshores Hospital where she was treated for non-life- threatening injuries.
On June 29th, 2025, shortly after 11:00pm, the Owen Sound Police Service and Grey County Paramedics were dispatched to a fail to remain collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of 1st Avenue West and 11th Street West.
A Break and Enter occurred at a downtown Owen Sound business during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 15, 2025. Seven different individuals entered the business over a two hour period and stole various merchandise while also causing significant damage to the store. Three of the seven suspects have been arrested by the Owen Sound Police Service.
