The Owen Sound Police Service are continuing to investigate the whereabouts of Jillianne, a 15 year old female, from Owen Sound.

15 year old female missing from Owen Sound

Following months of investigative work, Owen Sound Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police executed three simultaneous search warrants under Section 11 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act on April 24, 2025 — all within the City of Owen Sound. Investigators seized more than $99,878 worth of drugs, including 469 grams of cocaine, 43 grams of crack cocaine, 85 grams of fentanyl, 331 oxycodone pills, and 13 grams of MDMA (ecstasy). Along with the drug seizures, investigators confiscated $13,500 in cash and various assets. Several individuals have been charged.

The Owen Sound Police Service have arrested two Owen Sound residents following two break and enter incidents at the same west-end business that occurred less than a week apart.  The break-ins caused approximately $5,000 dollars in damage.

On April 13, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m., members of the Owen Sound Police Service responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on the city’s west side. The ongoing investigation led to an arrest, drug seizures, and criminal charges.

On April 13, 2025, at approximately 4:00pm, the Owen Sound Police Service attended a west-side residence in response to a disturbance. Just prior to police arriving at the scene, a male fled the residence in a vehicle. As a result of the investigation at the residence, police sought the male who had fled. Police attempted to stop the male in the vehicle on more than one occasion however the male continued to flee and the pursuits were discontinued for public safety reasons. With the assistance of the OPP this male was taken into custody this morning just east of Owen Sound and turned over to the Owen Sound Police Service. This arrest is part of a larger on-going investigation. There remains a police presence at a west side apartment building as the investigation continues however there is no risk to public safety at this location. Further details will follow once this investigation is concluded.

 Update: Four Arrested In Theft By Masked Suspects, One Suspect Still Outstanding

Police seeking the public's assistance regarding theft by masked suspects. 

Members of the Owen Sound Police Service were kept busy Friday and Saturday night responding to collisions resulting in impaired driving charges.

On March 7^th, 2025, at approximately 10 PM, the Owen Sound Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 900 block of 10^th Street East involving two motor vehicles. There were no reported injuries but both vehicles sustained significant damage.
